Bre is my name and Blogging is my game. I’ve been blogging for over a year and I have learned a lot, and continue to learn a lot.
When I first started out I thought blogging was straightforward. Write content, and publish it for the world to read and be amazed by who you are and how you write. Well, you could imagine my surprise when I wrote my first couple posts and only got a 1 or 2 views, and nothing else…
What was I doing wrong? Well, everything. I had no idea what I was doing. So I’m here to help you out I’ll provide you with the necessary tools to build a beautiful blog that people will come back to time and time again.
This page is specifically to list my favorite tools and resources to jumpstart your success in the blogging world. Some links are affiliate links, but that is only because I fully believe in the product I am using and promoting.
I started on Blogger and WordPress, I started a couple blogs that didn’t go anywhere fast, actually, they just shriveled up and died. When I got serious about blogging I decided to invest in Bluehost.
I wanted a website where I could have more control over how my site looks, I really wanted to be able to customize it. So I paid for a host for my WordPress site, and I’ll never go back!
By going through Bluehost I’ve been able to transform my blog into a business (that actually makes money).

PicMonkey is the best online photo editor that I’ve come across. I’ve tried ones like pixlr, canva, and even paint and Microsoft word when I first started… I know, I have come a long way since then! And my blog traffic and overall success have immensely benefited from upgrading to PicMonkey.
I use MailerLite for my email marketing platform. It is free to go through them up to 1,000 subscribers.
I think MailerLite is easier to use than Mailchimp, I used Mailchimp for a weekend and was so confused about how to set up forms and campaigns… So I did a little more research and found MailerLite.
Their system is more user friendly for those of us who don’t know tons of HTML coding. Needless to say, I’m all for a simple email platform.

I have a monthly goal board, so I can keep my focus on what I need to work on each day and week so that I can hit my monthly goals.
And I have a daily to-do list, once I accomplish one action item I can move it over to the done section.
