Why You Should Choose PicMonkey

Picmonkey is an online photo editor, and design tool. It’s what I use for all my images on my blog, my printables, and ebooks.
I started out using the free version of Canva, but felt frustrated because there wasn’t much I could do, even if I were to pay. Because I wanted complete control over editing and overlaying text and other images, and didn’t want pay a huge price to get adobe or some other fancy editor. I just needed something to help my pictures and website look more professional.
Then I stumbled upon Picmonkey, saw everything that you can do with it, and fell in love! It was perfect! It’s exactly what I was looking for!
In PicMonkey you are able to choose different size canvases for different social media outlets. Which, I don’t know about you, but it sure helped me out! Because I couldn’t remember what size my Pinterest pins should be, and I couldn’t make them that height in the free paint program I was using…lol I know, Picmonkey was a huge upgrade from for me!
And it’s been a huge upgrade on my traffic. Since I’ve been using Picmonkey my traffic has skyrocketed! Because my images went from looking like this:
With only 2 repins after MONTHS of being on Pinterest! To this:
My pin went viral in less than a week!
I couldn’t believe it! By having a good editing program I was able to increase my traffic by 4,000%!!! I wish I would have gotten a screenshot of that statistic because I could hardly believe it myself. But take a look at the graph of my what my stats looked like:
From 0 to 1,300 views!
Before updating all my old content with new pictures that looked professional and had text I’d get maybe 5 views every other day. Now a day doesn’t go by where traffic is “slow”.
My favorite features:
There is so much you can do with 1 photo to make it look amazing.
Here I have used the fade element so I can add text that is easy to read! I’ve done a couple things with this photo just so I can show you. The text at the top of the page was done using one of the text effect to get the shadow for the lettering.
And my website at the bottom of the image is another effect you can do with the text.
There are tons of different text fonts you can choose from:
The options for editing tools is everything you could ever hope for:
You can even edit how people look:
Including adding a beard, whitening teeth, taking away weight, brighten eyes, etc.
After I saw everything this amazing photo editor could do, I was so excited to start the 7 day free trial, and gladly signed up to pay for it from there. You can just use the free version but there are limits on what you can and can’t do.
I didn’t want limits!
And the awesome thing is it’s such a good price for an invaluable tool, that I, a newlywed and money stickler like myself gladly pulled out my wallet and paid the 4.99 per month. Yes it’s cheaper than Netflix. And gives you much more satisfaction.
